We live in a world of constant photo-taking, thanks to smart phones. But when is the last time you had your photos actually printed? Displaying photos in your home, gifting them to family members, adding photo albums to your shelves– these are truly such incredible ways to memorialize your images. And that is why part of my client experience is providing a printing service for you! Don’t leave those precious memories to collect digital dust on your phone or hard drive!
Whether you are booking me for newborn photography or family photography, you have a variety of options for how to display your favorite images from your session. Not only do all of your package options include a print credit to use toward prints up to size 11×14, but I also offer albums and wall art. Let’s take a look at the products I offer and how you can best display them in your home.
Prints
From 4″x6″ to 11″x14″, I’ve got you covered for quality prints that will last for years and years. It’s not always easy to choose which images to display, but that’s another benefit to hiring a professional family and newborn photographer — I’m happy to help with decision-making if you need it!
You can get beautiful frames for these images anywhere from Etsy to Target, but I especially love these pressed glass frames from Anthropologie and World Market. The minimal design keeps the focus on your photo and also makes it simple to replace it when you want to update. Not to mention, the pressed glass look works so beautifully with the unique deckled edge prints you can order from your gallery!
Unique Wall Art Options
While small prints are an excellent way to easily display your images, large wall art ordered from your photographer can also be a real focal point in your home. All the printed products I offer are made at professional labs specifically designed for photographers, so you are getting a truly high quality product that is unique and made with care.
Framed & Matted Prints
These framed & matted prints have a timeless look that complements any style of home, from Cape Cod cottage to modern Boston apartment. With three wood stains to choose from and two different mat options, we can work together to create a cohesive display for your wall, whether you’re ordering just one or making a full gallery wall.
If there’s anything that will make you smile as you walk into a room, it’s a big portrait of your little one hanging beautifully framed on the wall.
Hanging Canvas
These are truly a one-of-a-kind product for you to have! Made from reclaimed wood and your image printed onto thick canvas, it’s sure to be a talking point when you have guests. These work especially well with my candid lifestyle type of photography.
When you’re trying to decide on your order from your family or newborn session, I am always here to help if you need input on what will work best in your home. The hardest part of printing your photos is actually finding the time to get organized and place your order, so I make the process as easy as possible and can sit down with you if needed to go over what will work best and make suggestions on which images to choose.
Albums
My kids’ absolute favorite books to look at are our family albums and their newborn albums. It makes them happy to see our memories laid out and to remember what they looked like when they were first born.
My photographic style is very candid, so that means your gallery from your session will be like a story, capturing the essence of your family in a little moment in time. Albums are a perfect way to display all your favorite photos, and to save those little details that might not work for a wall display, but are still an important part of the story.
The process for ordering an album from your session is incredibly simple. You just mark all your favorite images in your gallery and I’ll put together a design for you! Easy peasy. That’s the best part! Like I said before, the hardest part of printing your photos is actually finding the time to do it– I take that part off your hands so all you have to do is get excited for it to come in the mail!
Looking back on your treasured memories is actually extremely beneficial to your mental health. Printing your photos and having them displayed on your walls, tabletops, and in albums, can bring so much joy to your day and be a big confidence booster for your children!
