The past year has been one for the books! I’ve been a family and newborn photographer in Massachusetts for a decade now but 2021 was the first year I’ve been completely full time without a supplemental side job. Best decision I’ve ever made!
I wouldn’t be where I am without such an amazing client base full of families who love my candid style and appreciate the importance of preserving memories. Thank you so much to everyone who has entrusted me with capturing your most precious moments! As my photography style has become more and more refined over the years, I really feel like I’ve found my niche within the market and am confident that I offer an experience that is unique– and timeless photos that aren’t something you can get from just any photographer.
Here are some exciting things that happened in 2021!
Client Closet
At the end of 2020, I introduced my Client Closet of baby and clothing items sized newborn through 5T, and in 2021 I focused on really expanding it so I can offer many different options to clients. This has made it so much easier for families to plan their wardrobe for their photo session!
Fresh 48 Sessions!
After hospitals stopped allowing visitors at the beginning of the pandemic, it was a long time before I could offer in-hospital newborn sessions again. This past fall I was able to start back up again and fingers crossed I can continue!
In-Home Sessions
In-home sessions are a great option for family and newborn photos if you love the more lifestyle/ documentary type of photos or if you are planning your family session for the cold winter months. It’s relaxing for the kids to be in their own domain and makes for really special candid photos in their favorite place. I took a lot more in-home sessions in 2021 than I have in the past, and hope to increase that even more in the coming year.
More Photos Than Ever Before
In 2021, I took more sessions than any previous year of my business! I saw lots of return clients who have trusted me with their photos year after year, and so many new clients too! Creating relationships with every family is important to me, and I always want to make you feel like you aren’t just a task on my to-do list. I approach my family and newborn photography as I would taking photos of my own family– the same amount of effort goes into every session.
I pour my heart and soul into this little business of mine and hope it shows through in your experience with me. I am so grateful for every family I crossed paths with this past year. Without further ado, please enjoy a selection of my favorite photos from 2021!
