Thank you for booking your milestone session with Aimee Liz Photography! Milestone sessions during the first year of your baby's life are a great way to document their growth and development.

Your session will last 30-60 minutes. Some babies are ready to model right away, and some babies need more time to warm up-- we will follow your baby's lead and go at their own pace so as to keep them as happy as possible.

Baby will be naked or in a diaper cover (provided in studio) for the majority of the photos. These sessions are meant to be simply about baby, with a minimalist and organic feel, so there's no need to bring any clothes or items from home. I will style the session using my collection of neutral and simple blankets, hats, diaper covers, and headbands. I've worked hard to have a curated collection of high quality items that are very on brand so your images can look just as beautiful as the ones you see in my portfolio.

What to Bring

Just bring baby! I have everything we need here. If baby eats table foods, you can bring little snacks like puffs or cheerios to entice them during the session.

If you'd like to bring an item from home to incorporate in the photos, I'm happy to discuss it with you beforehand to figure out if it will work well in photos and how best to use it.

important Tips

Fewer spectators is best! The less distractions there are during the photo session, the more likely we are to catch baby in a good mood and help them be focused on pictures.

If your baby is sick, I am happy to work with you to reschedule! A sick baby does not make a happy baby, so it's always best to try to find a time when they are feeling better. I photograph a lot of newborns in studio, so I also need to be very careful with keeping the area germ-free.
