Best of 2025
We are well into April of 2026 now, but since I was on maternity leave when the new year came around, I never got a chance to post a recap of 2025! It was a beautiful year full of beautiful photos that deserve to be shared. The families I worked with truly brought the love and connection!
It’s All About the Vibes
My brand continues to lean more documentary than posed– bring on the raw, the whimsy, the intimate moments. Activity-based family sessions are so great for this style of photography. There were picnics, hikes, gardening, pottery (I loved this one so much especially), painting, puzzles, baking, and more. Having something to do in your photos makes it a thousand times easier to relax and enjoy your family.
I still love offering both in-home and studio newborn session options. In-home sessions are oh-so candid and full of tender moments and beautiful chaos. Studio sessions are such a special focus on baby and I love the challenge of creating lifestyle-type images with the whole family in a studio space.
Looking Toward 2026
I was pregnant most of the year and so didn’t get to do travel sessions beyond New England, but let’s change that in 2026! I’m hoping to do at least one trip incorporating some family sessions– either coastal southern US or the West Coast. Additionally I’d love to add more activity-focused sessions into the schedule. Think fort-building at home, or playing in the sprinkler, or weeding the garden, or blowing giant bubbles, or crafting, or flying a kite, or having a pizza picnic at the beach, or playing board games. The opportunities are truly endless and make for a truly unique set of images tailored specifically to your family.
The biggest change for 2026 is my brand new studio space in Leominster, MA! After ten years, I’ve graduated from my in-home studio and moved into a 465 sq ft space complete with huge windows, cozy couch, changing room, and coffee bar. I am so excited to see what we make together this year in my new space!
